Dr. Weighart, DAOM, LAc, is a Board Certified, Licensed Acupuncturist, and an Herbalist. Her education was devoted to the integration of Chinese Medicine and Bio-Science. Her Doctorate, Master’s, and Bachelor’s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, were recieved from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City.  She specializes in Chronic Conditions, and has treated at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA, with a team in the ICU, Oncology and Hematology units. Dr. Weighart had participated in a National FDA Pain Management Study, run through Rady Children’s Hospital. Her long standing background with volunteer work includes treating Alcohol Addiction, PTSD, and Drug Addiction in The Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Weighart feels extremely blessed to have recently relocated her clinic from NY, to beautiful Southern Alabama, and looks forward to continue helping as many people as possible.

With 20 + years of experience in the healthcare industry, along with personal qualities of motivation and an abundance of patience, her goal is to assist patients in establishing a good sense of health. The body is amazing, and with a bit of guidance, it has the ability to heal itself.
